Motor yacht DRAGON flaunts a spirited, highly artistic quality which sets her apart from other luxury yacht charter vessels, both inside and out. The Palmer Johnson DRAGON is the second new launch in the shipbuilder’s Sport Yacht series, her sweeping 135 foot exterior design is so advanced — she is Showtime personified.

Luxury yacht DRAGON will likely become a much-imitated model of exterior and interior design among mega yacht charter vessels. Her speed and sexy appearance will insure this mega yacht will be coveted for both a Mediterranean yacht charter as well as a Caribbean yacht charter.

The entire Palmer Johnson sport yacht line has been designed by Italian based Nuvolari & Lenard. Not only is this megayacht striking in appearance, and the most spectacular of all of the Nuvolari & Lenard new sport yacht models, she is also fast – easily reaching a top speed over 34 knots.

The top deck boasts deeply padded sun-tan mattresses and lounge chairs all following the yacht’s crisp color motif. A full service bar with stools, plus grill, refrigerator and icemaker abets them.

Hidden in the streamlining of the yacht’s stern is a pair of waverunners – always a luxury yacht charter favorite, especially by guests during a yacht charter bahamas, where calm seas seem to run for mile upon mile. The stern garage door is large enough to double as a shaded staging area for charter guests using the onboard snorkel equipment and other water toys.

On the foredeck, Dragon’s dedication to relaxation, escape from worldly cares for fun and games, offers a magical whirlpool Jacuzzi tub, surrounded by brilliant red sun pads. When the Jacuzzi is not being used, a solid teak top covers it, to become a table. A bimini top can cover this whole deck area.

Dragon’s enormous foredeck opens to reveal the yacht’s larger tender, ready for launch. Hydraulically powered, the beam-width system presents a 17 foot Novurania fiberglass runabout, and its 2500 lb. crane davit.

One aspect of this vessel, which continually receives praise, is the exterior deck roominess. The huge back deck is laid out and spacious enough for a full family gathering, with a table that seats 10 very comfortably. There is also a bar with a refrigerator.

Setting the stage for the entire aesthetic production is the Salon: spectacular in red white & black, and inspired by the works and styling of Dutch/Flemish artist, Piet Mondrian. The arrangement of square and rectangular, exemplar protocols in walls and furnishings is rarely ornamental, featuring angles, squares, architecturally laid out in crisp geometric patterns. It expresses a devotion to functional form with an audacious color scheme. Through all that, the plethora of comfort prevails, in numerous couches, easy chairs, and walking spaces. The decor also flashes brushed aluminum trims with leather bindings.

On the lower deck the full beam Master Stateroom continues the Mondrian theme with strict architectural adherence. Red, white, and black dominate and reverberate even in casual furniture and wall panels. A large overhead mirror reflects the wide use of wenge African hardwood on the floors. Green/black crocodile leather adorns the king-size berth headboard.

Two VIP staterooms, facing forward, are port and starboard. Each features cedar-lined hanging lockers, as well as ensuite heads; with identical, exacting design. Both VIP staterooms have a full length mirrors, and storage cabinets.

A pair of Twin staterooms, convertible to doubles, is forward and side-by-side across the hallway. The strict design pattern continues, with leather paneled walls and overhead lighting. Each sports an ensuite head/shower. One has an extra fold-down bunk as well.
