At a length of 56 meters, and beam of 10.4 meters, the spectacular Galaxy powers through luxury yacht charter vacations for experiences of a lifetime. Eastern Mediterranean (Greece, Turkey), Western Mediterranean (France, Spain, Italy, Monaco, Croatia), and Caribbean (the Virgin Islands, St. Martin, St. Barts, Leeward Islands, Windward Islands). Her schedule is flexible and exciting.
The owner’s suite is on the main deck, with a panoramic saloon in its forward part.
GALAXY then has a VIP cabin on the upper deck, and four more guest cabins on the lower deck, in the form of two doubles and two twins.
The interior decorator has specified a variety of exotic woods for this yacht such as eucalyptus, sycamore, plane tree, maple, platanier.
GALAXY has an elevator running the lower deck guest from the lobby all the way up to the sun deck. The lift carries four people at a time, and the shaft is in glass, tends to act as an atrium, carrying light through the heart of the yacht. The lift to the sundeck is built into the gymnasium.
Most meals will be taken on the upper deck in the semi-circular dining room which can be opened onto the aft deck, or closed off with circular doors. When guests wish to eat truly al fresco, there is a shaded dining area on the sundeck, under a full-beam awning.
She had an extensive interior refit. For instance, installation of a bar in the main salon and remodel of Master Suite, Master Observatory, Upper and Main Salons, and VIP Suite. In addition, replacement of fabric panels in Lower guest cabins and replacement of all carpets, all loose furniture, all light fittings, all bathroom fittings in lower guest cabins. Further, new generators (x2) – Kilopak 200kW units installed and new Humidifiers for AC in Master Suite and Both Salons. Moreover, superstructure painting – Cabin sides and inner bulwarks in all guest areas and deck recaulking – Upper Deck, Main Deck, and Fore Deck. Additionally, exterior cushions – Replacement of all cushions and covers and bridge equipment upgrades. In specific 10cm Radar, 3cm Radar Scanner, AIS, CCTV, Fleet Broadband 250.
The extensive refit continues with AV system upgrade to include now having a centralized system with Crestron Control and Apple Technology and installation of new Tvro domes (x2) for uninterrupted TV coverage. Also, It system upgrade – Increased wifi coverage throughout and installation of new VSat domes (2) for uninterrupted VSAT coverage. More lighting upgrades such as interior and exterior lighting and Integration with Crestron. Interior design featured blinds upgrade – Complete upgrade and integration with Crestron. As if these upgrades weren’t enough, installation of true connect 3G/4G/GSM signal booster and PABX & Telephone system upgrade.
What refit would be complete without updated water toys? First, new guest tender – 7.1m Whitmarsh custom tender and new Jet Skis (x2) – Yamaha VXR 1800cc. Second, Seabobs (x2) – Cayago L7 Titanium and Flyboard. Then 6 sets of new Scubapro Dive Equipment, new Jobe Buoyancy vests and wetsuits, and Inflatable kayaks (x2). Finally, interior updates included new gym equipment including Technogym Kinesis Machine, Treadmill, and Bike, and general maintenance in all areas
