This Taiwan-built charter vessel has all of the amenities common to European-built yachts. Indeed, Jade Yachts motoryacht JADE 959 should prove a worthy addition to the summer Monaco yacht charter marketplace.
The Taiwanese shipyard Jade Yachts constructed and launched expedition yacht JADE 959 from their facilities in Kaohsiung. She is constructed with a steel hull and aluminum superstructure, and is rated for unrestricted world cruising up to Ice Class 1C or 1D. Realizing the best way to compete with the pedigree of Dutch and Italian yards, the team at Jade reached out internationally for design work. Architecture was undertaken in house by Jade Yachts, but Espinosa Yacht Design of Palm City, Florida, USA, was responsible for her exterior, while Central Yacht of Viareggio, Italy handled the interiors.
Thailand and Southeast Asia Continue to Grow as Yacht Charter Destinations
The result of combining multi-national expertise is a design aesthetic normally reserved for Euro-built private luxury yacht charter vessels. Espinosa Yacht Design has given this superyacht powerful visual lines and a one-of-a kind pale golden yellow hull. Central Yacht put together a stylish interior featuring soft leather, Fendi furniture, and oriental accent pieces throughout the yacht.
As with most +50 meter yachts, the vessel offers charter accommodations for up to 12 guests in 6 cabins. Staterooms are best described as modern and sophisticated, featuring a light and welcoming color palette. Throughout the cabins, and the rest of the yacht as well, large windows are employed to heighten the airy, bright ambiance of the interior areas.
A unique design feature – there are two large master staterooms, and each includes an office. This is a great feature when there are two equal couples who each deserve the space and comfort of a master cabin. Another scenario where this is a beneficial layout – a charter couple, who have brought along his or her parents…
This yacht should also receive consideration for corporate events, like a Cannes MIPIM yacht charter, where the charterer needs office space for business. In addition to the ensuite offices in each master cabin, a VIP guest cabin features a large private lounge. It is ideal for business meetings.
For indoor entertainment, children and adults alike will enjoy the private loft located on the top deck. This room features oversized comfy cushioned lounges, a large TV, two play stations and superb panoramic views of the outdoors.
The main salon is cozy, with comfortable seating areas for 12 or more guests. There are three cream and gold sofas. In addition, two uber-large black armchairs are in the salon. The furniture surrounds an expansive coffee table. This is the ideal area for families and friends to socialize and relax after a day of outdoor activities. Exiting to the rear of the salon, guests step out onto the main deck aft, which transitions by stairs, port and starboard, down to the large beach club. The beach club is a hidden gem at the aft of the yacht, down at the water’s edge. Here, guests can lay in the sun, or easily get into and out of the ocean, or launch the watertoys.
Outdoor recreation options are certainly plentiful. A state of the art entertainment system can pump music to all decks, and an extensive inventory of water toys includes two waverunners, scuba diving equipment for certified divers, plus an assortment of wakeboards, kayaks, and standup paddleboards (SUP’s).

The yacht also offers wellness yacht charters. Relaxation areas include the sun deck with Jacuzzi tub and sun lounges, and colorful nighttime mood lighting illuminates areas both indoors and out, including underwater. For tension and stress relief, a professional therapist is onboard during charters, to provide relaxing treatments in the yacht’s massage room.
The yacht is primarily based in the Mediterranean during the summer, and available for Southeast Asia yacht charters, including the Maldives, in the winter.
