Without question, at an imposing length of 85 meters (280 feet), motor yacht MOONLIGHT II is one of the world’s largest yachts. Her massive size defines her as a true super yacht. But an important question remains: Is this a cruise ship masquerading as a private yacht, or does this yacht and her crew deliver the superyacht experience to the charter guests? From the moment a person steps aboard, the resounding answer is , “Yes, this is the ULTIMATE private yacht!”
Unlike other large yachts that have the look and feel of a cruise ship, megayacht MOONLIGHT II has the interior and exterior finish, furnishings and fittings of a true luxury vessel. Great detail has been paid to design, quality and safety.
The perfect choice for an extended-family odyssey or business conference, motor yacht MOONLIGHT II can accomodate up to 36 passengers. There is a business center on board, as well as conference space. An internal LAN server is provided to link guest’s computers and digital devices, and an onboard digital PBX telephone system is equipped with ISDN compatible software. The system has five satellite connections linked via an Inmarsat Ship to Earth station.
Walking throughout the interior, guests notice the yacht’s color scheme is a relaxing blend of colors chosen from nature’s palette and not unlike the colors of Cyprus-wheat, golden maize, olive and deep clay reds splashed against gentle, cream-colored handmade carpets and sofas. It works well with the sea views afforded by large windows. Numerous seating sections allow guests to create their own conversation areas. Salon and lounge areas are large enough for grand entertainment and can accommodate a large entourage.
Guest staterooms include a two-room VIP suite and a 1,313 square foot master suite with adjoining cabin space for staff or children. The master cabin also boasts a private deck, personal office, and a sumptuous bath carved of solid Afion marble. Each of the 14 regular guest suites include a sofa, a desk, and a large bath with marble tub and shower.
Whether a trip with family or corporate hospitality, there comes a time to focus on individual needs – to rejuvenate mind, spirit and body. Fortunately, onboard spa facilities negate the need to go ashore to visit a health and fitness center. Easily rivaling the services of a facility such as Les Thermes Marins in Monte Carlo, the lower deck spa includes saunas, steam rooms, cold plunge pools, Jacuzzis, lavatories, clothes lockers, and showers. The area has a beauty salon, massage facilities, and a gymnasium fully-equipped to the highest standards. Slippers, anyone?
European-style service and notable onboard extras and offerings enhance the 1-800 Yacht Charters superyacht experience aboard MOONLIGHT II. Nothing is overlooked on this incredible yacht. Among her many features are a library and cinema, a 500-bottle wine cellar, a handicapped-accessible cabin, and a two-bed medical suite with a 24-hour nurse.
