The result is the Eleuthera 60 sail yacht NIRVANA – a catamaran of both impressive size and striking, modern appearance.
The team behind the unique appearance of Fountain Pajot catamaran NIRVANA is France’s Berret-Racoupeau Yacht Design. They undertook to design a yacht that appealed to all senses – a yacht with the feeling of warmth melded with the tranquility that is synonymous with space and comfort. Examples of her distinctive and successful design abound everywhere onboard, including oval hull ports, round skylights, a large cockpit with teak sole, and a dining table large enough for a banquet.
A beneficial charter feature worthy of note is the design of the yacht’s transoms. The catamaran’s large transoms are extra wide and located close to the water. The design allows the charter crew to easily move around the cockpit terrace without the need to go through the seating area. This unique deck layout means the crew can undertake sailing maneuvers and operate the yacht without disturbing any charter guests sitting in the cockpit.
The roominess of the cockpit flows seamlessly into the yacht’s cavernous interior. In addition to the light and airy saloon and dining area, there are 4 roomy guest cabins. Two double aft cabins are each convertible into twins. One of the cabins has an additional Pullman berth for a small child. There are two double forward cabins. Each of the 2 forward cabins has access to a single front peak. It is a sort of “mini-cabin” with a small berth suitable for children. The double aft cabin in the port transom also features a writing desk. All four cabins have air-conditioning and ensuite bathrooms.
