Built by Rodriquez Cantieri Navali, motor yacht ODYSSEY is a concept vessel produced by the yard’s superyacht division, Rodriquez Yachts. This Rodriquez 38 WB is a wide-body vessel, with a full-beam main deck. When compared to yachts of similar lengths and traditional layouts, this design offers extra comfort and space – a welcome plus for charter guests.
A full-displacement vessel with an aluminum hull, Rodriquez yacht ODYSSEY provides more than a spacious yacht – they also built in comfort while underway, thanks to Marine System zero speed stabilizers.
The yacht accommodates up to 11 guests in 5 cabins. Rodriquez positions the master suite on the main deck. Further, guest cabins exit belowdeck. The yacht is also quite swift, an added plus when traveling between remote charter destinations. She is driven by two Caterpillar C32 ACERT engines, generating a maximum speed of 19 knots, and an impressive cruising speed of 17 knots.
The main deck aft is the first indicator of the yacht’s modern elegance. This cockpit area features an oval teak table. It seats 10 charter guests. In addition, the area features a leather sofa and five leather chairs. A sliding glass door leads into the main salon, featuring parquet wood floors, bleached oak furniture, wenge-colored joinery, and polished steel inserts. The theme is undeniably elegant and minimalist.
A starboard side corridor leads to the owner’s stateroom while a port-side corridor leads to the main dining room. Moving forward and back onto the deck, the foredeck has room for guests to sunbathe in privacy.
The lower deck guest quarters each offer a private bathroom, ensuite, plus large screen TV’s and entertainment systems. Two VIP cabins have double beds. The other two cabins have twin berths.
The upper deck is ideal for entertaining dining alfresco. A skylounge opens to the top deck terrace. It features a table for six, large sunbeds, and an open-air Jacuzzi tub.
Modern technology, beautiful exterior styling, and elegant furnishings make this an excellent yacht for delivering the superyacht experience.
