A testament to the influence of the sun, ISA Yachts Granturismo yacht PHILMI was built specifically to bathe her guests in warmth and light, both indoors and on deck. This steel and aluminum displacement yacht offers the perfect balance between internal and external areas, by capturing the glow of the sun from bow to stern. Skylights, tinted exterior glass panels, and bright interior colors inspire charter guests to gaze out across the sea and up to the sky to worship the summer Mediterranean sun. A week onboard ISA yacht PHILMI will leave charter guests with a bronze tan on their bodies, and a relaxed smile on their faces.
The Granturismo yacht PHILMI, ISA Yachts second vessel in the series, was built in the company’s facility in Ancona [Note: the first hull in the series is also a charter vessel, the ISA Granturismo yacht OKTO]. Designed by Andrea Vallicelli, this 43 meter yacht is powered by twin Caterpillar engines, and can reach a top speed of 17 knots and cruising speed of 15 knots. With 4 guest cabins plus a master suite, she offers accommodations for a maximum 10 Italy yacht charter guests.
Sandrine Melot handled the interior design, and is credited with the fusion of the exterior to the interior space, as it relates to using the sun for inspiration. Warm light is a major feature in her modern and crisp interior design. Two large skylights in the main saloon and the master stateroom are used to enhance the white and pale grey decorations. Neutral-toned Italian leather by Foglizzo covers the walls and ceilings, as well as the master cabin’s floor. Like the feeling of slipping behind the wheel of a Maserati, moving about the interior of this yachts leaves no doubt you are enveloped in a modern Italian work of art.
In the stern area of the yacht, a gym opens onto a large swim platform, making this an excellent area for active guests to workout and/or launch this superyacht’s many watertoys.
