The builders of sailing yacht RHEA knew a good thing when they saw it. The launch of yacht Chronos brought nomination to Ark Yachts for a 2014 World Superyacht Award. That prestigious honor convinced the Turkish builder to duplicate the success of that yacht. Hence, the nearly identical Ark Yachts sail yacht RHEA has entered the industry, and should be a fixture in the St Martin yacht charter winter marketplace for many years to come.
RHEA boats a hull length of 48m (overall length 54m). Ark Yachts’ ambitious tailor-made yacht is a 2-masted ketch-rigged steel sailboat. She features a total sail area of 2050 square meters. The yacht classifies under the CCV-Code (Commercial Cruising Vessels) for safety and expanded passenger capacity. Whereas most charter vessels can accommodate no more than 12 guests, this yacht features 13 ensuite guest cabins for 26 passengers.
