In 2011, San Lorenzo Yachts delivered motor yacht SCORPION to her proud Russian owner in time to enter the busy Mediterranean yacht charter market. She was the first of three superyacht vessels by the famed Italian builder in one week, all for Russian clients. The launch of motor yacht SCORPION , a 40 meter vessel, was followed by the 38 meter yacht Santa Ana, and the 46 meter motor yacht Rêve d’Or.
The sixth hull launched in the San Lorenzo 40 Alloy series, motor yacht SCORPION was designed by Francesco Paszkowski. The yacht has an overall length of 40 meters and is powered by two MTUs 12V 4000 M93 outputting 2,340 kilowatts and delivering a top speed of 28 knots and a cruising speed of 26.
Guest accommodations include an Owner’s stateroom situated on the maindeck, with one VIP cabin, one double cabin, and two twin guest cabins on the lower deck. The twin cabin can be converted to a double cabin.
The state-of-the-art audio/visual entertainment system includes Denon iPod docking stations as well as a Denon home theater Hi-Fi system with Blu Ray disc players throughout the yacht. For active guests, a complete watersports inventory is onboard including towable toys, a waverunner, a jet ski, and underwater scooters.
Other similar yachts by the same builder and available in the Western Mediterranean include motor yacht 4A and 37m motor yacht DANCING MILLY III.
