Custom-built in 2004, motor yacht SHERAKHAN is the culmination of a dream for her owner. With few yachts legally able to accommodate more than 12 passengers, the owner of mega yacht SHERAKHAN set out to build a yacht with room for more than 20 guests. With nine double and four twin cabins, the owner achieved his goal, as this megayacht can accommodate 26 guests.

There is space in the dining room of mega yacht SHERAKHAN for an extended family of 22 passengers. The 7 meter Atrium is bathed in natural light, filtered down through the glass-bottomed Jacuzzi (with seating for 18). A unique lookout-house is perched above the sundeck, nearly 20 meters above the water line, and the views are stunning.

Guest suites range from 30 to 50 square meters and feature impressive decor, style, and of course, sheer size. The Master cabin features a Jacuzzi, revolving bed, private terrace, lounge area, and study. All of the double guest beds are king-sized, and all singles beds can be converted into doubles. Each suite comes equipped with a television, DVD, stereo, mini bar, safe, air-conditioning/heating, a vanity table/desk, and a computer. Other cabin features include relaxing chairs, saloon table, a very spacious walk-in closet, bathroom with toilet, bidet, Jacuzzi bath, double basin, and shower.

Exercise and physical-fitness buffs will truly enjoy the superyacht’s inventory of toys. The partial list includes 2 Yamaha Jet ski superjet 700’s, Yamaha FX1400 and XL700 waverunners, and 2 x 24 foot Clubman tenders, each with 260HP inboard engines. After an active day, guests can enjoy some quiet time in the beauty salon or the massage room, followed by a session in the sauna, Jacuzzi, or Fitness room.

Update!  Sherakhan underwent a 2 month refit in preparation for a global charter itinerary to include the Caribbean, Panama, Antarctica, South Africa, the Seychelles, Thailand, Bali, Fiji, and Costa Rica. She was repainted and received overhauled systems, which included new environmentally-friendly, lower emission gensets (generators) so that she’ll be more welcoming to the pristine environments in which she travels.
