The 34 meter Mulder motor yacht SOLIS is best described as a “Feel-good yacht” that blurs the boundaries between the indoors and outdoors. Think of her as a beach house on water, and it quickly becomes apparent that this yacht is perfect for small families and groups of friends. While the Mulder brand may not be familiar, rest assured this yacht has all the pedigree of any of the well-established Dutch builders – and she has the awards to prove it! Not only is motoryacht SOLIS Mulder Thirtyfour a finalist in three categories for the 2016 ShowBoats Design Awards, but she is also the winner of the 2016 World Superyacht Awards for best displacement motoryacht below 500 gross tons.
How the builders of the Mulder 34 motor yacht SOLIS fit accommodations for 8 guests on a 111 foot yacht is amazing, considering there are not one, but two, full-beam Master staterooms (as well as two double cabins, convertible to twins). Each Master offers a distinct environment, with one positioned on the lower deck and the other on the main deck. The lower deck master features large windows and an outlook close to the water’s surface. The main deck master cabin offers a large window directly above the bed – for amazing views of the stars at night.
The unique interior is credited to the British design studio Claydon Reeves. The designers flawlessly blended together the design requests of the owner with the recognizable profile of a Mulder yacht. The result is an award-winning contemporary-styled superyacht, perfect for Bahamas yacht charter adventures. [The yacht will be based in the Bahamas in the winter and spring months]
The Bahamas are all about warm weather and sunshine. Her vast sun deck is ideal for entertaining guests and provides two distinct areas – a forward shaded space suitable for al fresco meals or cocktails, and a large sunpad area aft, with a Jacuzzi style spa tub and bar.
Perhaps the most unique design feature of this beautiful yacht is her full height sliding doors on the port and starboard sides of the main salon. It is these openings that give the yacht a beach house vibe. The dining area also has its own full height sliding door, which opens to a hydraulic fold-down terrace. This feature is sure to add another dimension to a space which can as easily host an informal island-style breakfast, or a grand evening dinner.
In business since 1938, the Mulder Thirtyfour is the largest yacht built to date by this Dutch family-owned company. The yacht is certified for unrestricted navigation and has transatlantic range.
