The Charter Yacht Brokers Association is CYBA. They announce 2017 winners of their campaign. This is the annual “Going Green To Save The Blue” cause. The crew onboard superyacht NERO places in the “Designer Water” contest. The contest recognizes crews of luxury yacht charter vessels. This award goes to crews acknowledging their “yacht-made” water. This is an effort to reduce. Disposable plastic water bottle use on yachts must decrease.

Young Yacht Designer of the Year Award
A special presentation occurred at the recent ShowBoats Design Awards Gala. Notably, the winner of the annual Young Designer of the Year Award was announced. The international audience of yacht owners and luxury yacht charter designers observed. Not only is this an incredible award, but the designers also look forward to working with a new phenom.
Michael Givens is the 2011 winner. He won €5,000 in prize money. Michael bests a competition of 30 entries from 20 countries.

After extended summer use by her owner, Feadship yacht HURRICANE RUN has committed to the upcoming winter 2015 Caribbean charter season.
As of the date of this post, the yacht’s calendar is wide open for bookings in St. Martin, St Barts, and the Virgin Islands. For year-end reservations over the Christmas or New Year’s holidays, the yacht requires a minimum 10-night reservation. Charters of 5 nights or longer will be accepted for all other open dates.
