Luxury sailboat BAYESIAN was launched by Perini Navi, the worldwide leader in designing and building large luxury sailboats. The 56 meter yacht BAYESIAN is the shipyard’s latest megayacht of the 56-meters series, that has as predecessors the acclaimed sailing yachts Burrasca, Santa Maria, Rosehearty, and Selene.

Beyond having the essential characteristics of the 56 meter series of the Italian shipyard, but with an architecture that has been optimized by mega yacht designer Ron Holland to obtain a better sailing performance, charter yacht BAYESIAN presents a singularity that makes her radically different from the previous ones. The mega yacht is rigged with a single mast, that its 75 meters in height and is built in aluminum, turning it into the tallest mast made in this material.

The mast of this luxury charter sailboat is the second world highest after the one on yacht M5 (ex-Mirabella V).

The disposition of the deck also turns this vessel into a unique sailboat for a Mediterranean yacht charter. The owner required a different layout of the outer spaces that would favor al fresco entertainment. To accomplish this, the fore deck is equipped with a real 60 square meter covered saloon, at a lower level than the rest of the deck and surrounding the mast base that is added to the traditional stern saloon so characteristic of Perini Navi. This semicircular space, provided with sofas and tables, is acceded from the lateral walkways going down a few steps and is protected from the elements by a waterproof canvas as a marquee that converges at the mast base itself acting as an awning stanchion. Circular transparent panels that allow an 180º vision flank the whole area. Both the canvas as the windows can be taken off at will, based on the use wanted to be given to this space, whether in port during a Caribbean yacht charter or under sail.

The interiors of this sailing superyacht are a work of the Parisian interior designer Rémi Tessier, who got the order of the owners, a young couple with children, to create familiar, pure and natural atmospheres, but having a certain Japanese-style inspiration. To achieve this, select materials were invoked: ceiling light in whitened sycamore with whitened fir strips; teak surfaces with ebony insertions, combinations of stainless steel, ebony and leather on the tables, leather braided panels for the cabins, etc. All these elements contribute to create calm and relaxed interiors.

The lower deck is divided in three spaces clearly differentiated: the one for the crew; the middle one dedicated to the guests with four double cabins and a triple one, besides the owner’s cabin at full beam with its corresponding bathroom and dressing rooms with a surface of 143 square meters; the engine room with the technical and separated control space; and the garage more astern, with access to the sea from the port side and the unfolding platform of the transom, that opens completely to form a true beach. Both platforms are also accessed from the main deck.

A true mega yacht charter was once only possible on a luxury motoryacht. Now, with this latest superyacht from Perini Navi, a sailing yacht can deliver just as spectacular a Mediterranean yacht charter as any motoryacht afloat.
