This yacht is for the truly adventurous traveler. Look no further than motor yacht BELLA VITA for fun. The German-built behemoth cruises northern Europe and the Caribbean. Built for an owner with years of open ocean racing and cruising experience. The superyacht design is for maximum comfort at sea. In specific, no matter the weather conditions. She is built to the highest technical standards. Her owner also insists on a yacht with practical features. For instance, large outdoor spaces aft and forward. In addition, sun decks providing plenty of seating for open-air dining or entertainment.
In fact, Lurssen yacht BELLA VITA features six decks, including a helicopter landing pad on the bridge deck – more than enough room for 12 private yacht charter guests to relax while underway or at anchor.
Stretching almost 248 feet in length, M/Y BELLA VITA Lurssen build from 2009 (refit 2017) features six staterooms to accommodate 12 guests. In addition to the helipad, the yacht also offers a home-theater room, a library, a master salon with grand piano, and two Jacuzzi pool/hot tub spas.
The yacht’s exterior was designed by Espen Oeino with interior styling by Pauline Nunns. The Nunns’ interior can be best described as a grand country traditional. The overall feel is light and airy, and there is a sense of a comfortable country home – with artwork adorning the walls and plenty of shelf space for books. There is raised, fielded limed oak paneling throughout the interior – in some areas painted in pastels that blend with the fabrics, with others, left with a natural finish.
TEN AMAZING YACHTS designed by Espen Oeino
Upon boarding through the main side entrance, guests enter a marble-floored hallway featuring a cylindrical glass elevator offering access to all decks. This is helpful for guests with physical walking limitations.
Aft of the hallway is the entrance to the main salon. Here guests can relax in comfortable couches and chairs covered in warm red-tone fabrics. In-room features include a real working fireplace, a self-playing Steinway piano, and a coffee table that opens up to display a working roulette wheel.
The dining area is aft of the salon, with seating for 14 guests. Here’s a unique feature – the table can be quickly dismantled by the crew and the open area becomes a party space or dance floor.
Forward of the main entrance hallway are two doors leading to the guest area. One door opens to a guest office suite, while the other door leads to the guest deck with 5 accommodation cabins as well as a guest beauty salon and massage room. Two of the five guest cabins are VIP suites separated by a connecting door and can be turned into a family suite with exceptionally large bathrooms. The other three guest staterooms feature one double and two twins. The twins can be converted into queen-size beds.
The master suite is located on the bridge deck. Guests enter through a lobby into the master suite library. This room features a red leather couch, a bar, and extensive spaces for books. From the library, one door leads into a private office while the other door gives access to the bedroom. The panoramic views from the bedroom are spectacular, and the light blue décor underlines a feeling of total calmness and comfort.
Additional interior space includes a sky lounge aft of the main lobby with amenities similar to those found in the main salon, such as a fireplace and large cozy chairs.
Note – while unusual on most yachts, the fireplaces are a welcome feature for Baltic Sea yacht charters and cruising throughout northern Europe.
“PLUS ALL” – Understanding the true cost of a private yacht charter vacation
The outside aft deck offers large spaces for al fresco dining and entertainment. The sides of the deck can be covered with glass panels for wind protection, and an overhead heater ensures comfort in cold weather (another example of what makes this a perfect yacht for Baltic charter vacations). When cruising in warm weather areas, triangular awnings fixed on carbon-fiber poles offer plenty of protection from the sun.
