Chances are anyone who has visited the Bahamas in the past decade has seen the majestic charter yacht RHINO at anchor off a small cay. The 154 foot megayacht has been a fixture in the Bahama yacht charter market for years – a popular vessel for active travelers. Admiral Marine yacht RHINO is operated by a charter-savvy owner who understands the importance of constant maintenance and the benefits of major upgrades in aesthetics and amenities. Simply put, the yacht looks better and fresher than the day she was originally launched.
From refined soft goods to Versace tableware, additional upgrades on Admiral super yacht RHINO include replacing the two small round dining tables in the main salon with one large, ornate dining table, and refitting a twin stateroom to be convertible into a king berth, in order for the yacht to accommodate 5 couples in 5 double staterooms. Interior design was completed by Donald Starkey and is best described as a blend of contemporary and classical styles.
The five luxurious staterooms include a full-width master suite, with King berth, and a his and hers bathroom with central shower and central Jacuzzi style hot tub. There are also two Queen-size and two Twin cabins, all with ensuite heads. Each stateroom is equipped with an entertainment center and computer Internet access.
What truly sets this yacht apart from the competition is the 1:1 ratio of crew to guests. There are 10 crewmembers aboard to serve up to 10 guests. This one-on-one ratio insures every guest receives undivided professional attention throughout the charter.
Most megayachts feature a fair selection of amenities and watertoys to keep guests entertained and active. This yacht goes beyond a fair selection, to the level of amazing. For passive relaxation, the yacht offers an audio-visual Kaleidecape entertainment system with a large movie and musical library. In addition, there are iPod docking stations, X-box for the children, and shipwide wi-fi throughout the vessel. Active guests can keep moving from sunup to sundown, with an array of toys including a high speed tender, four personal watercraft (most yachts have two), and a slippery-wet waterslide that sharply drops 40 feet from the top deck to the ocean below.
Did You Know… The name “Bahamas” came from the Spanish word, “Bajamar,” which means, “Shallow water.”
