The PJ 170 Sport Yacht SANAM is the last Palmer Johnson to be built in the USA. Specifically, before the company shuttered their Surgeon Bay, Wisconsin yard. They relocated to the Netherlands earlier this year. Sanam’s sleek profile and aggressive stance make her instantly recognizable. Arguably the ultimate Sportyacht, the iconic design and cutting edge styling of Palmer Johnson motor yacht SANAM ensures this yacht will draw attention everywhere she travels.
It has not been determined when Palmer Johnson 170 Sportyacht SANAM will join the super yacht charter industry or where she will be based. Currently, the yacht is for private use only.
While most yachts in 50 meter range all seem to look the same, the PJ 170 is a breath of fresh air. Her dynamic look is relaxed and elegant, featuring large, open decks that flow into a sophisticated beach house interior. Designed with a strong identity, flowing longitudinal curves and hard transverse edges give the yacht her signature look. When this PJ 170 SportYacht does enter the market, expect to spot her in the summer months in the Western Mediterranean…along the French Riviera, the Cote d’Azur, the Italian Riviera, Naples, Sicily…possibly even Ibiza and the Balearics for a Spain yacht charter.
In the winter, Sanam relocates to the Caribbean to be spotted at St. Barts. Specifically, for New Year’s, along with other superyachts for rent. Maybe the Virgin Islands, the British Virgin Islands, Antigua, Necker Island (visiting the private island of Sir Richard Branson, perhaps?). Further, maybe the Turks & Caicos? It is a hot spot for those well-traveled.
