58 Meter St Martin Yacht Charter Vessel Is A Standout

MI SUENO CHAT

We had an opportunity to chat with Captain Glynn Smith onboard the Trinity yacht charter vessel, motor yacht MI SUENO (FYI – her name is now SKYFALL) recently.  We organized a year-end Caribbean yacht charter for a repeat customer and needed to review itinerary ideas, etc.

CAN-DO SKIPPER

It’s always a pleasure to work with a real “Can-Do” skipper – the type of professional who never says “No” to a client.  Glynn truly understands the value of top-notch customer service, and it shows in his enthusiasm.
Glynn’s positive attitude and professionalism deserve recognition.  Maybe it’s time we showed him our gratitude with a little extra promotion of his magnificent charter vessel, M/Y MI SUENO.

ABOUT THE YACHT

Built in the USA in 2010 by Trinity Yachts, the 190 foot luxury motor yacht MI SUENO is a standout superyacht in every respect.

AMENITIES

Her amenities include WiFi and Kaleidescape central movie/music server throughout. She is also equipped with a 2-person, wheelchair-accessible elevator (to 3 levels).

DECKS

Conversation areas abound on all levels – both inside and on deck. The sophisticated, contemporary interior designed by Patrick Knowles is a tasteful mix of textures, fine art, and neutral colors in furniture, fabric, carpeting, and stonework. The formal dining area is nothing short of stunning – with a table that seats 14 comfortably.

ACCOMMODATIONS

There is a full-width split-level Master Suite with King bed. It exists forward on the main deck.  This stateroom has multiple features. For instance, a private study, lounge, and his/hers bathrooms. Five additional ensuite staterooms are below.  In specific, they include a full-width VIP King suite, 2 matching King staterooms, and a wheelchair-accessible Queen stateroom.  In addition, there is a Twin stateroom with additional Pullman berth.

EXTERIOR LIVING AREAS

Trinity yacht MI SUENO offers three exterior living areas.  In specific, spacious and inviting – with beautiful teak furniture on all levels.  Active guests may go to numerous locations.  For instance, head on up to the sundeck for a vigorous workout on the elliptical trainer.  Soothe sore muscles in the on deck Jacuzzi.  In addition, follow with a dip in the splash pool.

As the sun sets, who wouldn’t enjoy cocktails and al fresco dining on the aft deck of the skylounge?

For in-water fun in the sun, yacht MI SUENO is a blast.  Specifically, she is jam-packed with an extensive inventory of water toys.

Caribbean Yacht Charters | SailAway’s Top Three Secret Caribbean Beaches

Posted on

The SailAway Yacht Charter Group’s Picks for
Best Secret Beaches in the Caribbean

* Lameshur Bay Beach, St. John
* Happy Bay, St. Martin
* Palm Beach, Barbuda

THE STORY

For years,  travel agents and yacht charter brokers have promoted the British Virgin Islands as “Nature’s Little Secret.”  Unfortunately for luxury sailing charter travelers seeking solace and quiet anchorages, the secret is out.  While the BVI and most of the Caribbean remains a fantastic sailing destination, there’s no denying it – it is getting harder and harder to anchor off the shore of a quiet beach.
The good news is that there are still undiscovered beaches in the Caribbean — blissful hideaways where tourism hasn’t yet eclipsed the local culture.

THE STORY CONTINUES

The most experienced Caribbean yacht charter skippers know these secret beaches but are reluctant to disclose their locations.  Fortunately, our loyalties are to our charter clients – and we are more than willing to share these hidden gems with our readers!

TOP 3 SECRET BEACHES

First, Lameshur Bay Beach, St. John, USVI
While the bareboat yacht charter crowd is anchored off the Baths in Virgin Gorda, BVI, we like slide across Drake Channel to the US side of the Virgin Islands and go ashore on the secluded southeast coast of St. John, at Lameshur Bay beach.  At the end of the cobblestone beach at Lameshur is a more isolated, sandier strip known as Donkey Bight. Snorkelers love this beach, as it leads to Beehive Cove, a warren of caves and tunnels filled with coral and sea sponges and teaming with fish.
Physical fitness buffs can also enjoy a 1.2 mile hike up a trail to the 1,000-foot peak of Bordeaux Mountain, which overlooks the bay below.  Photograph of a beige sand beach, seagrape leaves in the left hand and front of the photo, and island at the back right side of the photo. Turquoise water that blends to dark blue as it gets further away.

SECOND TOP SECRET BEACH

Happy Bay, St. Martin
Located on the French side of St. Martin, Happy Bay is an underpopulated stretch of crème-colored sand. Thick underbrush surrounds the beach and serves as a challenging barrier to most shore-based tourists. The privacy of this beach has made it a popular spot for clothing optional tourists.  Snorkelers marvel at the vast numbers of tropical fish in the crystal waters.

THIRD SECRET BEACH

Palm Beach, Barbuda
While nearby Antigua flaunts bustling beachside hotels, Barbuda offers quiet beaches with pink sands, the Frigate Bird Sanctuary, and only a handful of resorts.  Antigua is a great place to begin a superyacht charter (international airport, and excellent megayacht marinas) but do yourself a favor after your board.  Cruise over to Barbuda and enjoy the solitude.

MY SEANNA superyacht 2 jetskis in action next to yacht

We were truly impressed by the crew onboard NewVida (160′ motoryacht). They met all of our requests, including anchoring right off the beach of my brother’s villa in St. Martin. It was wonderful to have the entire extended family onboard for lunches, etc.

Thank you for selecting this yacht for our holiday.

Name: K.D.

Another happy customer!  It is an honor to make memories happen for wonderful families like this one. The Superyacht Experience™, created by 1-800 Yacht Charters.
