American superyacht builder, Trinity Yachts has launched their first yacht of 2012, the 49.90 meter motor yacht TSUMAT. The yacht features an interior by Dutch designer René van der Velden.
OTHER TRINITY YACHTS
Similar in looks to Trinity yacht charter stalwart, motor yacht WHEELS, M/Y TSUMAT offers accommodations for 10 to 12 guests. The master stateroom is positioned on the main deck, with 4 guests cabins located on the lower deck, and a convertible sixth cabin on the bridge deck.
ABOUT TSUMAT
The yacht has twin 2250 hp Caterpillar 3512B engines. She features a signature oversized Trinity swim platform. It is large enough to store two waverunners. In addition, on the Sun Deck, ten or twelve guests fit into the large Jacuzzi tub. Comfortable sun pads surround the tub. It has an adjoining bar. Aft of the hot tub is space for additional furniture.
DECKS
Below on the bridge deck, there is a sky lounge with bar and plenty of seating for entertainment. Down on the main deck, there is symmetrically-styled seating in the main saloon. Forward of this area is the formal dining room providing seating for up to twelve.
CONSIDERING A TRINITY?
Other yachts launched by this builder and currently available for hire include motoryacht CARPE DIEM, motor yacht SKYFALL, and the yacht MINE GAMES featuring a mini submarine.
Fans of the Trinity line of luxury yachts are hopeful to see this new yacht enter the charter market by summer, 2012.
Just in time for the winter rental season, Trinity yacht charter vessel Motoryacht CARPE DIEM has added a new toy to her watersport equipment list. That toy is a unique “Jetovator.”
Be warned! This toy is for designed strictly for adrenaline junkies!
WHAT IS IT?
The Jetovator is a water sports accessory that undoubtably extends the ability of an existing personal watercraft (PWC). It redirects the water thrust from the propulsion unit of a waverunner or jetski along a forty foot hose to the Jetovator body. In addition, this water thrust is then used to propel and elevate the Jetovator up into the air…or down into the water!
The rider can also redirect the water thrust of the two front nozzles in order to maneuver the Jetovator in all directions (read between the lines – spin wildly in the air). It should be noted that the Jetovator can go vertical straight up to a dizzying 20-25 feet at speeds of up to 25 mph. Finally, for a wetter experience, you can take a nose-dive and actually cruise underwater (to approximately 4-5 feet deep).

I saw an article last week about the top baby names for 2017. The story read. “…if you’re searching for a baby name in 2017, you’ve got a big, exciting decision to make.” Additionally, it continues, “whether you’re after something that’s trendy or traditional, it can be challenging to wade through the thousands of possible names for your future baby.”
I thought to myself, “What about boat names?” Proud new owners of private luxury yacht charter vessels are in mind! Undoubtedly, they experience similar excitement in deciding what to name his or her new floating darlings.
Yes! the Boat Owners Association of the United States (BoatUS), recently released something. It is their annual list of the Top Five Boat Names for 2017. Important to note, they actually list the top ten, but who cares about any top list after the first few winners. (winking emoji)
Unquestionably, each yacht name reveals a little bit about the personality of the yacht’s owner. So, from trendy to traditional, here is this year’s Top Five list of names.
THE LIST
SERENITY – if ever a name captured the essence if a private yacht charter vacation, this is it. Calm…quietude…ahhh…
Note – there are soooo many luxury yacht charter vessels with this name, we can barely keep them straight! Four of them are currently listed on our site, including the popular Greek yacht charter catamaran SERENITY, and we have NINE yachts with this name in our charter database!
SEAS THE DAY – cute play on words for the famous Latin phrase, “Carpe diem.”
ANDIAMO – this perennial favorite name means, “Let’s Go” in Italian.
IRISH WAKE – I think we all know stories about the joy and celebration the Irish are said to have after the death of a beloved friend or family member. Need to focus on the idea of a wake and a possibly Irish owner. Still, this one creeps me out a little bit for a boat’s name…
FREEDOM – bold, powerful, and patriotic. Common charter vessel name, including the 120 foot Virgin Island yacht charter motor yacht FREEDOM, and the massive 23 foot Benetti yacht charter vessel that shares the same name (ex motor yacht REVERIE)
