Just in time for the winter rental season, Trinity yacht charter vessel Motoryacht CARPE DIEM has added a new toy to her watersport equipment list – a “Jetovator.”
Be warned – this toy is for designed strictly for adrenaline junkies!
The rider can also redirect the water thrust of the two front nozzles in order to maneuver the Jetovator in all directions (read between the lines – spin wildly in the air). The Jetovator can go vertical straight up to a dizzying 20-25 feet at speeds of up to 25 mph. For a wetter experience, you can take a nose-dive and actually cruise underwater (to approximately 4-5 feet deep).
Luxury motor yacht CARPE DIEM 191 can sleep 10 to 12 guests in a full-beam master stateroom on the main deck, four double guest staterooms, and a convertible gym on the lower deck. Weekly charter rates begin at $395,000 per week, plus all expenses.

Whoo hoo! The yacht’s representative contacted us to announce newly reduced rates for the popular 191 foot motor yacht CARPE DIEM for the remainder of the spring in the Bahamas. Her weekly rate has been reduced from $395,000 per week to $375,000 per week.
Additionally, the yacht is now accepting advanced reservations for the summer in the Med.
The 191′ (58.23 meter) Trinity yacht CARPE DIEM is well known and instantly recognizable in the Bahamas. Captain Ryan Butterwick and his crew of 11 have been offering Bahamas yacht charter vacations to affluent travelers for the past three seasons. Most yachts of this size are based further south in the Caribbean during the winter – in St. Martin and St Barts. Captain Butterwick and the yacht’s owner saw an opportunity to be one of the very few large private yacht charter vessels to choose the Bahamas as their home port for the winter and spring.
The representative describes the yacht as,
“…an objet d’art all her own. Her signature interior by Carol Williamson and Associates simultaneously creates a sense of both drama and balance. There is a marvelous display of juxtaposition of design elements, joining opposing materials of Madagascar ebony wood with white onyx stone, varying textures of velvet, satin, and embossed Paltrona Frau leather. Showcased throughout the yacht are vintage fashion photographs, art deco antiques, and lavish furnishings.”
Offering accommodations for 12 guests, the acclaimed charter yacht was a finalist for 2012 World Superyacht Awards for Best Tri-Deck Semi-Displacement Yacht, and the 2012 Showboats Design Awards for Best Interior Design.
For active, well-traveled families seeking a warm-weather getaway this winter or spring, we highly recommend Trinity motor yacht CARPE DIEM. We have personally inspected the yacht on several occasions and know Captain Butterwick and his team will Deliver The Superyacht Experience of a lifetime to you and your guests. I saw an article last week about the top baby names for 2017. The story went on to speculate, “…if you’re searching for a baby name in 2017, you’ve got a big, exciting decision to make. Whether you’re after something that’s trendy or traditional, it can be challenging to wade through the thousands of possible names for your future baby.”
I thought to myself, “What about boat names?” Surely, the proud new owner of a private luxury yacht charter vessel must experience similar excitement in deciding what to name his or her new floating palace.
Lo and behold, the Boat Owners Association of the United States (BoatUS), recently released their annual list of the Top Five Boat Names for 2017 [they actually list the top ten, but who cares about any top list after the first few winners].
For certain, each name reveals a little bit about the personality of the yacht’s owner. So, from trendy to traditional, here is this year’s Top Five list of names:
Note – there are soooo many luxury yacht charter vessels with this name, we can barely keep them straight! Four of them are currently listed on our site, including the popular Greek yacht charter catamaran SERENITY, and we have NINE yachts with this name in our charter database!
Do you have a favorite boat name, perhaps for your own boat, or a luxury yacht charter vessel you saw at sea? Share that name with us, and if there’s a short story about the name, we would love to hear it! Email us your cute boat name at firstname.lastname@example.org!
